REGIONAL TOUR

FEB – APRIL 2022

The 60 Four is a four-piece vocal group who are presenting the hottest, freshest 60s tribute act. Backed by a spectacular 9-piece band, they dazzle audiences by performing classic hits of the era with exciting, modern production values including original, intricate vocal harmonies and contemporary big brass riffs.

Between February and Apil 2022, The 60 Four toured South Australia, taking their high-calibre, innovative 60s act to regional locations including Kangaroo Island, Victor Harbor,  Elizabeth, Noarlunga, Port Pirie, Renmark and Whyalla. The tour was a roaring success, and provided an psycho-social boost to each regional location.

The 60 Four is proudly local. Having started in a high school music classroom, the group has developed into a tour-de-force, demonstrating to young people that with perseverance and determination they can provide exciting musical experiences all over the state.

Director Ben Francis explains why the group strive to make their performance as accessible as possible.

“What makes The 60 Four unique is the youth and energy that enables those who grew up in the ’60s to relive their adolescence with a performance that has an energy and excitement parallel to the original experience. I am aware that The 60 Four attracts many seniors and that travelling to Adelaide is, for some, prohibitive. So, wherever possible, we have tired to take our show to as many locations around our state as possible. We have performed in Kangaroo Island, Clare, Mount Gambier, Auburn, Naracoorte, Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie and Victor Habor.”

A similar tour is planned for 2023.

Thank you all for a wonderful night. I was worn out watching you. You are very talented young men; loved your show so much. Please come back to Whyalla soon
so we can enjoy being back in the 60s when I was in my teens, I am now 77 & sang along with you never forgetting the old songs. Thank you again & wishing you all
much more success in the entertainment world.

The best show I have seen in a long time! I could have been in Las Vegas!
So well rehearsed and presented with such enthusiasm and energy. Dance moves were precise. Musical excellence displayed in superb harmonies and highly competent back up musicians. I will be booking again to see these guys. Thanks for a wonderful night’s entertainment.
