"something special..."

Ben Francis is the group’s director and has the same great tenor voice that Frankie Valli had. But this is no one man show; each member shines as a performer but as usual the total is more than just a sum of its parts. Every member takes the lead on one or more of the songs and together they are something special.

"musical powerhouse..."

Talk about high octane. They’re not only the hottest act in town. Perchance they are the hottest act in the land. Back in the 60s, no one could or did perform this material with the sort of energy and panache that the 60 Four turns on. They just make an audience feel uplifted. They make the world a happier place. Five stars does not really seem enough.

"born to entertain..."

With energy to burn, and talent in spades, this was an unbelievable night of foot-stomping, audience interaction and chair dancing to the iconic sounds of the 60s – timeless music presented by a group of boys who were quite literally, born to entertain. The 60 Four are the real deal, and this show cements their position as Australia’s best tribute artists to the 1960s.

About us

The 60 Four present the biggest hits of the '60s with a contemporary sound and stunning showmanship that have made them one of South Australia's premiere acts. With their slick moves and tight four-part harmonies, The 60 Four present the best of the golden era with in a high-octane, electric tribute show.

The 60 Four started in 2015, when Ben Francis, Lachlan Williams, Kyle Charles Hall and then-bass Tom Russell found themselves singing ’60s music in a high-school class taught by well-known Australian cabaret performer Michael Griffiths. They have gone on to become one of the countties most revered tribute shows.

Our Story

In 2016, The 60 Four produced their first public show at an intimate 40-seat venue. They now reguarly sell out performance seasons, with over 2000 tickets, serving up a slice of the 1960s to audiences all over Australia

The 60 Four is proudly local. Having started in a high school music classroom, the group has developed into a tour-de-force, demonstrating to young people that with perseverance and determination they can provide exciting musical experiences all over the country.

The Show

The 60 Four present the very best music from the golden era. With a variety of ballads, and up-tempo twisting hits, they create the perfect, high-energy trip down memory lane.

What sets The 60 Four apart from other tribute acts is the contemporary arrangements, outstanding production values and the youthful energetic performances. Musical arrangements are produced for the group by Adelaide musicians Emma Simpson-Smith and Marco Callisto who have created a spine-tingling full-bodied blend with brass instrumentation, and contemporary riffs, played by a spectacular 9-piece band. Vocal arrangements by Ben Francis include intricate four-part harmonies which add personality and flavour to the timeless era.
