The 60 Four is a four piece group who are presenting the hottest, freshest 60s tribute act. With their slick moves and tight four-part harmonies, these charming young men perform all of your favourite ’60s songs.
The group are led and directed by Ben Francis who, along with Lachlan Williams, Kyle Hall and Jack Conroy, began performing 60s songs when at school together in Adelaide. They weren’t born in this era but don’t let that fool you into thinking their portrayal is inferior. They bring their own arrangements and a blend that emanates from their obvious rapport as friends.
The 60 Four regularly entertain audiences at public shows, private functions and corporate events. They combine hit songs, world class harmonies, smart suits and choreography to provide timeless, rousing entertainment. A vocal and visual treat
The 60 Four started in 2015, when Ben, Lachlan, Kyle and Tom found themselves singing ’60s music in a class taught by well-known Australian cabaret performer Michael Griffiths It was their first taste of the spine-tingling harmonies that were so prevalent in the era.
They prepared a medley of songs by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and performed it at an Adelaide Awards night, receving a standing ovation and three job offers on the spot.
The group soon realised that the iconic sound had timeless appeal, and they began exploring more music of the era, extending their repertoire and adding the sharp suits and slick choreography that were quintessential of that period.
In 2016, The 60 Four produced their first public show at an intimate 40-seat venue. They now reguarly sell out performance seasons, with over 2000 tickets.
